For this research, we have decided to concentrate on Designer Shoe Warehouse, often known as DSW. We recognize the value of consulting with an expert to learn more about how the company uses Management Information Systems (MIS) in its daily operations.

We reached out Charles (Chuck) Whitaker, the store manager of Watchung, New Jersey, who graciously consented to an interview on DSW's information systems. His readiness to impart his expertise and viewpoints was crucial in assisting us in comprehending how DSW handles inventory control, point-of-sale systems, and data security across its operations.

We would like to express our gratitude to Charles for allowing us his time to help us with this initiative. We would not have been able to properly finish our examination of DSW's MIS structure without his cooperation and insights. His contributions gave our study useful perspective and improved our understanding of how MIS contributes to retail performance.
